Ivor Barnard

Ivor Barnard is a visual artist who creates sculptures and installations that explore the languages of representation, topography and geomorphology. The works invite the viewer to question the nature of such modes of representation, considering how they  - inadvertently or otherwise - support agendas of power and control, appropriation and entitlement, and through these agendas objectify and alter the very things they were designed to represent.
